The founder

Rodrigo
Lobo

A Chilean rider who turned the road into a life, then brought that experience home to Jacko On Tour.

One road. Two travellers.

The person behind every expedition.

Rodrigo is not a guide brought in for departure day. He is the rider who spent more than a decade learning what changes beyond the next border, and what never does.

More than 70 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas taught him how to read weather, distance, machines and people. That judgement now shapes every Jacko On Tour expedition.

The co-pilot

Jacko gives the expedition house its name.

Jacko is Rodrigo's Jack Russell and loyal travel companion. He appears throughout the road archive, at the motorcycle, at the border and wherever the day happens to end.

He is not a designed mascot. Jacko On Tour carries his name because the story has always belonged to both of them.

The motorcycle

A BMW F800 GS shaped by the long way round.

Rodrigo travels on his personal BMW F800 GS. It is not a rental fleet bike or a studio prop. It is the machine behind the dust, borders and field decisions in his archive.

Rodrigo is a former BMW Motorrad Chile ambassador. Today the motorcycle is presented for what it is: his own working travel companion.

Reported from the road

The journey travelled further than the motorcycle.

In September 2019, German motorcycle magazine Tourenfahrer recorded a visit from the Chilean traveller and his Jack Russell co-pilot. It is one surviving piece of an international road story told in more than one language.

From traveller to expedition leader

Patagonia proved the next chapter.

In March 2026, Rodrigo led a completed guided journey through Patagonia for 34 riders from the United Kingdom. The scale was different, but the principle was the same: clear decisions, direct responsibility and leadership from the road.
